KSAssistant

Troubleshooting

There is a known issue where some users are seeing padlock symbols on the dashboard briefly after subscribing. This is because there is a time delay between your browser knowing whether you have subscribed, and displaying the correct information.

Some workarounds are as follows:

1) Refreshing your browser

2) Ignoring the padlocks (the criteria should open as normal).

If you have subscribed, but are encountering issues with being able to access content, please drop us an email (and provide proof of purchase) at hello@twolostsouls.co.uk, and we’ll do our best to help.

KSAssistant is built in ReactJS / vite, and so therefore should work on the majority of devices.

Please note that KSAssistant has been developed primarily for computers (desktops or laptops). In theory, it should work just about well enough on iPads / Tablets, but please bare in mind that it has not been designed for touch interfaces.

Attempting to use KSAssistant on phones / small screens will result in an error message displaying.

Please ensure that you have:

  • Clicked “yes” on the onboarding prompt for notifications (or allowed notifications on the KSAssistant ‘settings’ screen).

  • Allowed notifications in your browser settings (and are using a device where you can grant notification permissions)

If you are using a device that automatically deletes cookies, this will delete your notification preferences.

Please note that KSAssistant uses browser notifications (not push notifications). This means that you will only receive notifications when you go to the KSAssistant webpage.

KSAssistant stores all of its information in your browser cookies on your device. It is recommended that you use the same device and browser each time so can pick up where you last left off.

Please avoid:

  • Clearing your cookies (this will delete all of your KSAssistant information)

  • Using a device that automatically clears your cookies (some workplace devices do this).

KSAssistant is designed to minimise the amount of personal data collected.

Your KSA content (chosen routes, checklist progress, and usage data) is stored locally in your browser and is not uploaded to KSAssistant servers.

Account sign-in and subscription status are managed using trusted third-party services:

Supabase is used for authentication (email sign-in) and session management

RevenueCat is used to manage subscription status

Stripe securely processes payments

KSAssistant does not have access to your payment details at any point.

These third-party services process only the information required to provide authentication and subscription functionality. KSAssistant does not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

Because your KSA progress is stored locally in your browser, please note that clearing your browser data or switching devices may result in loss of progress.

1. Overview

KSAssistant is a web-based tool designed to support BABCP KSA preparation. It provides guidance, examples, and progress-tracking tools but does not replace professional supervision, training, or official BABCP guidance.

While KSAssistant has been rigorously checked and tested, we do not guarantee that using KSAssistant guarantees that your completed KSA Portfolio will pass.

By creating an account or using KSAssistant, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Accounts & Access

  • Each KSAssistant account is intended for individual use only.

  • You must not share your login details or subscription access with others.

  • Sharing accounts, reselling access, or allowing multiple users to use a single account is not permitted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse or account sharing is detected.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

  • KSAssistant Pro is a paid subscription.

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe via RevenueCat.

  • KSAssistant does not store or have access to your payment details.

Subscription access is linked to your account and device. Refunds, cancellations, and renewals are handled according to the terms of the payment provider.

4. Data & Storage

  • Your KSA progress, selected routes, and checklist data are stored locally in your browser.

  • Clearing browser data or using a different device may result in loss of progress.

  • Account authentication and subscription status are managed via Supabase and RevenueCat.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use KSAssistant for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute KSAssistant content

  • Circumvent subscription checks or access paid features without a valid subscription

  • Upload or share content that is misleading, harmful, or inappropriate

6. Intellectual Property

All KSAssistant content, including text, examples, structure, and branding, is the intellectual property of Two Lost Souls unless otherwise stated.

You may use KSAssistant materials for your personal KSA preparation only. Redistribution or commercial use is not permitted.

7. Disclaimer

KSAssistant provides guidance and examples only. It does not guarantee BABCP accreditation or assessment outcomes.

Users remain responsible for ensuring their submissions meet BABCP requirements and standards.

8. Availability & Changes

We aim to keep KSAssistant available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Features, pricing, or availability may change over time.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, including account sharing or misuse.

You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. By purchasing, you request immediate access to the service. If you cancel within this period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the time the service was provided.
After 14 days, refunds are not provided.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

TLS Agenda Timer does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Purchases are handled securely by the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Stripe (for web users).

TLS Session Timer does not process or store payment information.

Local preferences (such as settings and timers) are stored only on your device.

We may use third-party services such as RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and unlocks.

These services only process purchase receipts and do not identify individual users.
