two lost souls podcast
A podcast for trainee and qualified High Intensity CBT therapists in the UK.
Conversations about training, imposter syndrome, and the parts of the job that rarely get talked about.
You’ve decided to become an HICBT therapist; the start of a rewarding, challenging, and often intense journey.
Since our first episode in 2022, Two Lost Souls has aimed to answer the questions that come up along the way: from getting onto training, to qualifying, to finding your feet afterwards.
Latest episodes
In our first episode of 2026, we speak to Dr. Laura Winter (Counselling Psychologist and researcher with a special interest in P/politics and social justice) and Dr. Richard Bennett (Clinical Psychologist, CBT / ACT therapist and Clinical Lead on the HICBT course at the University of Birmingham) about P/politics!
Key topics include:
– What we mean by P/politics, and the difference between Politics and politics
– How P/politics shows up in therapeutic environments
– Navigating P/political material as part of therapeutic journeys.
Lots of food for reflection in this episode, and we hope you found it as fascinating as we did!

Michelle and Ravi have a really personable and conversational style which is fab to listen to. Really looking forward to listening more!
